What to do ✂️

I’ve had this girl for about 4 years

She’s lost several leaves and is pretty bald towards the bottom (like 5-6 empty nodes worth of space) and as you can see she’s losing more leaves and the others are mostly really sad and droopy.

She has some really nice leaves in the middle but then the top leaves are smaller and kind of ugly (probably due to changes in lighting from moving apartments twice in the last two year)

I’m considering cutting the bottom trying to restart her in water, but I’m open to less extreme ideas if anyone has them

She used to be my pride and joy but has sadly taken a turn in the last year and I want to return her to her true potential like a good plant mom!

I’d definitely chop the top off where the leaves stop fenstrations and it gets leggy. I’d leave it in the soil though because I don’t think it’s roots related, it’s because of the lighting changes. Chop it and move it to a brighter area or get a better grow light that will provide better light in a wider area
