Post in a local foraging group! For ostrich fern you’re looking for brown papery outer layer (I think I see some) and a dent in the stem like celery. Always check with experts in your area before trying something new. Those also look too open to be good to enjoy.

looks like fiddleheads but I get this knowledge from the art in story of seasons so I wouldn’t trust it too much
