Planted these last weekend, they have not perked up. We thought it was overwatering so we didn’t water for 2 days, although it did rain in between but very little. Leaves are malleable and no signs of burn from sun.
We used Miracle Gro All Purpose in ground soil, and Scotts Earthgro mulch.
Any advice is appreciated!

Well, the planting location is less than suboptimal, and I wonder if a hole was dug, a bunch of soil was plopped in, and then the plant was plopped into the plopped in soil. That would create poor drainage and may explain the drooping. Just a guest based upon the information provided.
