I bought this variegated ZZ plant and was told to leave it alone until I can see roots on the side of the cup. It’s next to my hydro set up and getting about 18 hours from grow light, temp is 70-72°f, removed the top cup to decrease humidity once I saw rot present, haven’t watered since receiving on April 7. I cut off the rot and spritzed with peroxide before putting back in perlite.
This is my first attempt at propagating a ZZ, what am I doing wrong?
