Why are these weak looking?

Spindly and not very green… Swipe through for more photos. Any feedback on what might be lacking here?
6-8 weeks since planting, 3 weeks since they were moved from seed start trays into 4-inch pots with organic potting soil mix. Originally was using Miracle Gro once a week at 1/4 tsp / gallon, switched last week to Organic Plant Magic every watering at 1-2 tsp / gallon. Water when soil tops are dry, roots nice and white. Plenty of ability to turn up the light intensity, but whenever I do, the leaves start curling. Fan runs all the time, lights run 15-16 hrs / day.

Low light, low airflow maybe? Maybe they are unhappy with something in the soil or water? Might be too much fertilizer for them..? maybe poor drainage..? Hard to really guess.

Personally I’ve not had particularly good experience using miracle grow drops myself.

When did they start looking less green and more spindly? Or have they been like that since they were seedlings?

  3. Guessing over feeding from what you’ve said. What is your water source? Also stop using miracle grow. Try something like Neptunes harvest fish poop, and start feedings at 25% the recommended amount in future.

If you really aren’t overwatering (is the bottom soaking wet even though the tops are dry when you water?) then I think overfeeding is the issue. There was probably plenty of nutrition in the potting soil already. People always seem to think they need to fertilize immediately but you really don’t need to until the plant’s used up everything available in the potting medium, which takes quite some time. If these are only 6-8 weeks old I would just now be starting to think about fertilizing for the first time, and that’s only if I knew I was using a low-nutrient mix.

When did they start looking like this?

  5. Coco coir is buns as a seed starter.

My guess is the light. What is it? How many lumens? Etc
