Tomatoes

Anyone ever seen this before?

Both of these tomatoes are mortgage lifters, but one has healthy large leaves while the other plant has really small, thin leaves. Has this ever happened to anyone before? Maybe it's just the plant genetics. I have some extra mortgage lifters that look normal. Should I replace the one that looks weird?

You ever seen siblings one short and fat and the other tall and skinny?

Honestly, if it was me, I’d just leave it. Sometimes, they will just take off and pass up the “better looking plants”. It’s still fairly young

It can be just a matter of maturity, or soil nutrient balance.

  4. For me, this is almost always either it’s not getting enough/as much water or needs a fertilizer boost. Honestly, when I see these small leaves, I hit it with something synthetic for a real boost. If you choose organic, you’ll want to hit it twice a few days apart.

And yes, they can literally be right next to each other and one will be lush, but the one next to it will be small-leaved. It’s wild.

Last year I ordered Mortgage Lifter seeds from a fairly big/well known seed company.
    They were NOT Mortgage Lifters.
I tried again this year with new seeds from Victory seeds. 🤞
