Do people normally prune the little buds at the top? (Pictures 7-8)

I understand pruning early on to allot the plant to dedicate more energy to root/leaf/stem production, but they’re hard to reach with my pruners and don’t pop off easily without damage to the stem.

(Don’t mind all the cucumbers in the background, that I definitely DIDNT start a month early and now can barely contain inside, and my fertilizer burned tomatoes that are in recovery 🥲)
