First year with an inherited mystery garden: here are all the daffodils this spring.

I have literally never been happier in my life and would die for this garden. Zone 6b, will take all your tips for keeping the crew healthy. Bulbs have been around since the fifties — if not longer.

They need thinning every few years typically, or they stop blooming ( overcrowding). They left you the fancy ones, nice!

Wow that is a nice variety of daffodils. What a nice surprise!

They are gorgeous- daffodils are one of my top favorite flowers. They don’t require much care- except to wait until the leaves die back before clipping or mowing.

You’ve got some real beauties there! So many doubles!

I also inherited a house with loads of daffodils. Isn’t it delightful? That first spring was so exciting, watching them all come up out of nowhere. I’ve never divided mine in 15 years and they still put on a grand show every spring.

Daffodils are an easy love. They don’t get pests or diseases and rabbits are deer legitimately don’t touch them. I bet you have many more surprises in store for you as the perennials wake up. Take pictures and use Plantnet to check for weeds

These posts make me sad.. just the thought that some day I might leave the garden I worked so hard on for years…. I’d miss my plants
