Just a heads up, that pot is entirely too big for those two leaves.
Repot into something smaller with fresh dirt and I’m sure you will see growth and less gnats.

What the other person said and to add:
Buy mosquito dunks (I buy mine from Amazon. A pack of 12 lasts at least a year) and keep them in your watering container for 24 hours prior to watering. This will handle eggs and larvae, the yellow sticky traps handle the adults.
In case nobody else mentions, mosquito dunks can cause water to get smelly (though I’ve used the smelly water and nothing bad happened to my 10+ plants). I usually fill up my watering container at least 24 hours prior to watering because of this.

Beneficial nematodes if the other commenters’ reccos don’t work. Smaller pot is free and mosquito bits are cheap, but beneficial nematodes are like Sam Jackson’s Jackie Brown speech. When you absolutely, positively have to kill every last plant pest in the room, accept no substitutes.
