Deshojo cutting alive after two months, but still no roots?

I took this cutting a couple of months ago off a budding deshojo. Used clonex. It threw out a couple sets of leaves just fine, and is showing continued growth (other than the stably dying top node), yet no sign of roots/buds. Leaves also remain in this upward-folded position. Any pointers/tips?
