Grow lights for greenhouse? Don’t have enough sunlight

Hey all! I’m purchased this greenhouse this year for a few reasons. Mainly, in hopes of keeping it from the rats that have decimated my container gardens in previous years. I live in a big city, and my ‘backyard’ faces an alley… eek. I had also hoped to maybe extend my growing season a bit, when the time comes. Unfortunately, I discovered that the only place the greenhouse fits doesn’t get nearly enough sunlight, because of the way the surrounding buildings are angled. It’s rough out here for an urban gardener… hah.

My question to you guys is this: what would be some good grow lights to put in a greenhouse of this size? I’m looking to grow vegetables, herbs, and maybe a few fruits like strawberries. Let’s assume I’m using up most of the interior space with container plants. What size grow light would I need/where would it need to be set up? Forgive the learning curve, I know next to nothing about greenhouses or grow lights. Any help is appreciated!

I live in an area with very cloudy/rainy winters…..I grow orchids and finally built a greenhouse a couple of years ago.

Google “Weed Grow Lights”….The marijuana industry is very cutting edge ;-). There are hundreds of LED options out there. They seem pretty expensive, but they put out light like the sun! Many cheap LED lights don’t really add much so it will depend on what you grow.

Might require some research, but because there are SO many options
