It literally talks back to me I don’t know how to get it to go away. Got some mole traps but they haven’t worked so far. I have these holes all over the yard and flower beds.
You haven’t seen it? It sounds like a frog to me! I have them in holes all over my property like that. One REALLY freaked me out when I was looking in the hole and saw his little head poke out to look back at me!! LOL

Possibly a large crawfish. Yummy this time of year.

If its not bothering you I say let it be. Its not like it a Mountain Lion.
Put up a trail cam, you can figure out whats up 🙂

I haven’t even seen it yet but I know it’s cute 😂 plant something around the hole for cover, this will help increase your new friend’s property value lmao

I get that the drainage is messed up and stuff, but Sir sounds so sweet!

Could it be a cicada? They make a similar sound when they feel threatened. [Example ](https://youtu.be/qrQn4RkFVm0?si=JTuD7HsCjVsbBdyI&t=10)(warning: loud). That would explain why there are holes everywhere too; they’re supposed to emerge from the ground in prolific numbers sometime in the next few weeks.

I’m so curious! Can you try to get it to come out of the hole?

I’m 90% sure this is a toad.

Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward could take care of this…

Don’t remove and certainly don’t kill it. We need the wildlife. Live and let live.
