Bought 12 acres with my then girlfriend now fiance and we are set to marry this August! Broke ground on the wedding barn and am almost done setting posts. Next will be purlins and beams and bandboards and such and wanted to share the progress with some cool people! Also looking for advice on a few things. It’s a 30×50 barn that grades 4’ 8 over the 50’ and I’m wondering once the work is done what’s the best way to get this thing looking venue ready? Gravel around it? Mulch? The farthest 20×30 is enclosed living space, the middle 10×30 is a stage/deck and the remaining 20×30 (closest to the camera) is open, and I’ll have doors on all 3 sides so they can be open and people can kinda wander around and through while music is playing, just looking for advice on what y’all think would be nice to put around the barn as well as inside the 20×30 “dance floor” area

What is a wedding barn?? Is this going to be used after the big day for anything else? Is this a single-use building?
Will your wedding include a reception with a meal?
If yes, you need to figure out how to set tables and chairs on level ground.
And even if no meal, chairs won’t sit well on that slope.
I mean… are you doing no excavation at all?
The top soil isn’t usually ideal inside the building.
