Pothos

fuller?

I posted a few days ago about this pothos. Since then I have repotted it and made sure to put it in the window during the day. How do I get it to grow fuller faster? My current marble queen prop isn’t doing too hot and I want to try again but this plant is so sparse I don’t want to take another cutting yet. Also, are marble queens known for growing slower than others??

The only way to make it fuller is to have more plants in the pot. When it gets longer, you can cut it back and replant the cuttings in the same pot. Some people will plant them directly and others will water root first.

Generally, any plant with white varigation will grow more slowly than all green varieties. White does not contain chlorophyll, so cannot do photosynthesis.

As it starts to grow vines, use a hair clip/bobby pin/wire to pin it to the soil so that roots will grow from more nodes along the vines. Then at some point you can also chop between those nodes and you’ll basically have a bunch of new props ready to grow, and they’ll each start their own vine!

That’s what I’m trying at the moment anyway 🤓🤞
