I ate one of these berries thinking it was a wild strawberry. Come to find out it might be a snakeberry. I was wondering, are the berries pictured above deadly? I thank you all in advance
I don’t know if I’m too late but if you’re talking about those red ones those are duchesnea or mock strawberry and they are safe to eat. I don’t remember if the rest of the plant is safe to eat but the fruit definitely is. I’ve eaten tons of them

It appears to be false strawberry. Sometimes it is called snakeberry, but that appears to be a nickname for several plants. This one is not poisonous, although it’s not really worth eating, either.
