I’ve never grown these but the container looks small & crowded for a climbing vine. ESP if it’s supposed to yield food

They need 6-12 of space in the ground. In a container it should be one per container. Most likely the roots are choking each other. They also need at least 6 hours of full sun. The roots of these get very long. You will also need a fairly deep pot.
