Homesteading

3 years ago today, before we started our homestead

3 years ago today, I was pregnant and Greg and I had just moved out of a tiny mold infested apartment that had made me extremely. We moved into a rough trailer in a pretty rough trailer park. After we had moved in I had to scrub EVERYTHING it was all covered in so much junk and I spent two whole days raking trash off of the lawn.
We didn’t have a dryer yet so we were hanging up all of our clothes, but we did have a washing machine so atleast we didn’t have to go to the laundromat anymore!
We told ourselves we wouldn’t be here long, we would find a place and start a farm! And a year later that is exactly what we did ♥️

When this popped up in my memories I wasn’t going to share it at first but I thought it was a great way to show people that you don’t have to have everything in place right now. It takes time to get to where you want to be and sometimes you have to start out a little rough before your dreams come true!
You don’t have to come from money to farm
You don’t have to give up your dream of farming just because you aren’t in the place to do it right now
You do have to have a fiancé that is as crazy as you are though 💖
.
Also look at how tiny Billy was 😭 he has been through it all with us!

All I have to say :

If you want to keep your clothes nice for a long while dry them in the shade, drying them in the sun will result in discoloration.

No problem for whites thought ;).
