This is the triple crown variety and I got it at HEB in a pot and planted it in my yard. It’s not really growing much and I’ve had it for maybe two months. In south central texas so temps are warm. I water it every few days.

Sometimes newer growth on mine are that color and I have a ton of blackberries coming in, seems happy and healthy. I haven’t worried too much about them and things seem to be going ok.
It’s just the color of new growth.
