Here’s how I make my own SEED STARTING MIX

🌱Make your own high quality SEED STARTING MIX! Easy to do and it will save you $$$ instead of buying those expensive small bags (which I, personally, can go through really quicklyl)

🌱Also YOU can choose the raw material that goes into it! For example, I prefer coca-coir over peat moss. Add some perlite, and vermiculite, and a bit of compost, and you’ve got the best seed starting mix that money can buy…for a lot less!

🌱When it comes to starting seeds, I like to keep things STERILE, so this is one of the few times I use store bought compost, since it is not as alive as my home made compost. Since I start my seeds indoors, I have less fungal issues if the soil is sterile.

🌱BONUS: You can easily convert any extra seed starting mix into potting soil by adding more compost and some granular fertilizer to it!
