Berries

What are these berries and are they edible?

Located in Texas. I believe they’re southern dewberries from my quick Google search but am not 100% sure.

    some kinda bramble/rubus, you’re good.

quick fun tip: if it looks like a blackberry/raspberry, it’s edible. There is only one poisonous “lookalike” in goldenseal, and it really doesn’t look similar since it has pointed ends on the little blobs and has only one berry per plant.

Looks very similar to a boysenberry or Olallieberry. Either way as the last guy said, any of the rubus family are safe to eat, they just look a little different at peak ripeness. Anyway, good find!
