Berries

Blueberries won’t flower (or fruit)

Hi- we planted a blueberry bush that had berries on it when we bought it 2 years ago. Since then it grows leaves every spring but never flowers. We’re in an 8b zone and blueberries do great here (in other people’s yards). We checked our soil pH and it was 4.5. Any help?

  1. We water it when it gets dry, but luckily we get lots of rain here. The pH is acidic as I said above, but I can check for nitrogen and phosphate. It seems to have a lot of clay. We have rose bushes on the other side of our yard that do well, so maybe I’ll just dig it up and try it over there. Every year my kids get excited for blueberries and they never come.
