Filled This Jar With Dirt/Mud/Water From A Small Pool Of Standing Water Yesterday Evening. Already Fascinated By It

I’ve been wanting to make a Jarrarium for a while now. I live near a lake and decided yesterday would be the perfect time to fill it up after the tide rose last week after like 2 weeks of constant rain. I chose to use a small pool of water about 10 feet from where the tide is now as the source, just to make sure I was collecting as many little organisms as I could. Totally did not expect to see this many though. There is so much life in this thing, it is absolutely incredible to see. I’ve looked up and have tried to ID most of what I can see in there. I can’t wait for all of the sediment to settle, I know there is much more than what is actually visible; both above and below the surface.
