    I have two of those covers for my beds. If you have a herd of 19 deer that walk right through your yard every evening, these will SAVE your garden. I will get more next year for sure!!

    My son and I just got a big raised bed set up and placed yesterday afternoon. The bottom is filled with branches and logs from a tree that fell during the ice storm. I've got to get the soil in, but that's going to take several trips to the garden center. 🌻🌷🪻 Soon, food!!

I'm intrigued by the idea of woodchips in the bottom of a raised bed, as I have a big pile of them from past tree trimmings, and have been pondering how to use them. I may try this, in another year or so. Thanks James. I also watched your interview with Mr. Milennial Gardener, and great interview!

    Hi James- Im wondering if something like hay/straw works for filling raised beds? Were about to have TONS of woodchips but they wont be dried out in time 🙁

    Hello, can you please make a must haves for new gardeners. I understand requirement might change depending on how much space one has. Like what tools (saw, drill etc) or stuff one must have like fertilizer, insecticides or shade cloths, netting etc. thanks
