Found a spring….or pond…

So, some of you have watched a bit of what we’ve been doing up on our acreage over the last year. We keep getting little surprises that are major blessings.

At some point I’ll get an areal video of the land to show you all. As it stands, we have four 10-acre benches (around that), and each one has revealed some neat stuff.

We’ve got the road we’re doing between benches 1-3 (bench 4 has an old road, but we haven’t accessed it at all really…it’s just 10 acres of trees.

Anyway…the issue where we are is striking water when you drill a well. Everyone around us on all surrounding acres and neighbourhoods have serious challenges. Most wells are producing 1gpm MAX…terrible. So far, we found a spring and developed it on level 1, and it’s providing 60-120gpm (depending on time of year), and we developed it in such a way that it remains contaminated and is gravity-fed into cisterns.

Bench 2 is chill for now…no plans. Bench 3 is our dream space, but ZERO prospects for water…until today!!!

Don’t get all strange on me, but I was walking the land and prayed. I said, “Lord, it would sure be nice to have water up here.” This was last week. Yesterday I was taking a stroll with my dad (he’s older) and we found a wet patch in the bush…squishy wet. He says, “Son, I betcha there’s a pound under there.”

So today i did a little test dig…and the picture shows the rest.

TL;DR
Prayed for water where there’s no water…now there’s water. Amen.

    Amen!
    God is the miracle worker.
Throw in a pump, run it through a sediment filter then UV and you’re good.
