Over a dozen caterpillars just decimating my eastern red columbine. I’m so happy 🥰
Northern Virginia. My columbines have colonized my very small front yard. Just this afternoon I found these little guys snacking. There’s a birds nest under the eaves next door that I think has some chicks already, that mama bird picked a great spot to raise a family.

That’s great. Columbine is all over the place on my yard too. Hope to see some action soon.
