Favorite part of the garden at the moment (and a regular visitor)


This Sterling Jay (I think?) has been a regular visitor since I set this water feature up, plus lots of little pollinators stopping by for a drink.

I used a $40 pump off Amazon, $20 plastic tub from Lowe's, some leftover irrigation tubing from the garden and rocks from the yard.

    Love this! I get so many birds, I have added a small bird bath but would like to add a pump. Is the pump solar?

    OMG! A Stellar’s Jay! I have a big ole chest tattoo of one. Beautiful and inquisitive bird, god awful call though and they love to scream at like 5am.

    A Stellar’s Jay! Such delightful shitheads. They’re in the corvid family (crows) so they behave accordingly. Love them though.
