  1. Regarding the connection of the 1900s & 1980s sections of your home…you might get inspired by Brent Hull's YT channel. He is a master craftsman/architect from TX that does a weekly series on visually "fixing" the exterior facade of different homes styles. His focus is on preservation of architectural accuracy and "balance" in the proportions of exterior design elements, so the result tells a unified and understandable "narrative." He is also the owner of a period-authentic architectural millwork and window restorations company and is an industry expert in the history of interior wood trim. May give you some ideas on how to unify your home when you move forward with renovation plans. 🙂

  2. Why would you plant the Japanese Maple in that area? I know they are slow growers but why under the house eaves. I know you like to move plants so I guess it won’t be a problem for you.

  3. Laura, this is definitely a "watch twice" video. Once with morning on small screen & again this evening on big screen for a larger view of your gorgeous tulips! Thank you for your great work and education.

  4. Wow love the tulips. ❤
Does your employees use the product you sell, like the clothing. Thank for doing what you do. And to all your team. You bring so much joy in our home and garden❤❤

  5. You probably already know this but the architecture of your farmhouse , the older part, is called an American Four Square. I am not sure what the addition is architecturally.

  6. Did I take a left turn and end up in Holland! WOW, the tulips look fantastic. Out of all the flowers that can be planted and cultivated, tulips have ALWAYS been my favorites, so of course, I would love this. Thanks again for sharing. 🥰

  7. I think I said Wow, Perfect, Wonderful about 100 times during this video!!! I loved This Video!!! Inspiring and wonderful way to start the day!!!🏵🌹🌻🌺🌼🌷🌸

  8. Great video! I would be tempted to add some of the pink tulips from your cut flower garden into the 4 quadrants to fill the gaps and amp up the display for next year.

  9. As beautiful and glorious as all the tulip blooms are, i feel they are showcased and framed by the lush, verdant grass pathways!

  10. I get so excited for you all when I hear your vision for the garden coming to fruition – can't wait to see the work start on the new connected beds!

  11. I’ve had a few tulips come up in our woods this year. I blame it on the squirrels. I did not plant them there! 😅

  12. Title said Japanese Maple and Clematis and i thought i was having a severe case of Deja Vu! 🤣

  13. Gorgeous show of the tulips. Great job Paul. Exciting to see the new planting. Thanks again for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
