After rot, and/or mites, and a severe beheading, lost growth point, and eventual offsets, it finally graduated from the 2in pot to a 3in pot! I noticed the roots peeking out of the drainage hole a couple weeks ago. Actually, I saw one peeking out, watered it because it had been a couple of days (the tiny pots dry very very quickly!), and then later that day, another root was sticking out.
Finally got to repotting it today, happy to see a nice and full root system, and hope it continues to thrive with a bit more space.

Do you ever go straight to 4″ from 2″? Some of my 2″ succs have a massive plugs of roots coming out of the bottom but I honestly don’t feel like investing in 3″ pots.

Very nice! Blue Bird is one of my favorites. Amazing they can come back from the brink of death and flourish. 😎
