Onion Starts and Cut Flower Garden Plans (+ starting lots of annual flowers in raised beds)

It is time to plant our onion starts from Dixondale Farms and introduce you to some of my plans this year for adding a ‘cut flower garden’ to our raised beds setup. If you can believe it, we are adding TWO more raised beds to the garden, both placed in full sun locations to maximize the amount of cut flowers we can grow in our suburban backyard (without cutting into our vegetable growing space).

In this video, I walk you through some of the flower focused content creators (aka flower farmers and YouTubers) who I have pulled my inspiration from this year, and as always offering you a few book resources as well (my favorites). I hope you have some plans to plant more flowers among your vegetables this year! I can’t wait to see how our gardens look in just a few weeks.

As always, thank you for spending time with us in the garden.

Happy Planting,
Maria
