  1. Rofl Aaron, my tax papers went everywhere. ๐Ÿ˜‚ definitely last longer if you don't cut. You should mention to them that they were in the CUT flower garden.

  2. I will always follow 2 zones below mine for perennials and trees. The zones have changed. Iโ€™m planning on putting annuals out earlier than I ever have but for anything that is an investment Iโ€™m still looking at 2 zones below mine.

  3. In the news tonight, "Man Killed by Mangave Plant!" Little did the man know that the famed Mangave plant, whose knives and spears could not only poke an eye out, would take his life after his gardening-expert wife simply asked for his help in moving the plant. More on this sad but bizarre story at 10. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  4. I am so looking forward to seeing your mom and dad's house renovations and I can understand why your mom wants to wait until it is pretty much completed… ๐Ÿ˜Š
    .{I would be the same way!!!}

  5. To berm up the pond area โ€ฆ.DIG A POND โ€ฆover in the dirt land โ€ฆ.i can just see a canoe ,fishing โ€ฆducks โ€ฆ.oh JOY ๐Ÿฅฐ

  6. Kinda of a personal question ? "How much would 3 pallets cost"? You can bet most of us cannot afford all the plants and other "goodies " they have!

  7. Hi Laura, Aaron, Benjamin, and Samantha! I was wondering what the plan is for the Hartley formal sections? I absolutely loved the ornamental cabbage plants last year. Your plant combinations are always beautiful.

  8. So enjoyed this video…as always soooo informative but I also found that I was smiling or chuckling with the way you and Aaron banter with your responses to questions…Thank You

  9. Agaves are a fundamental component to every low desert landscape! I just planted 7 during our cool weather months! And then thereโ€™s a few in terracotta pots. They definitely need to be respected, handled with TLC, AND gloves!

  10. Iโ€™m going to say this, sorry for so many comments, it is what it it is is perfect for gardening. In a romantic relationshipโ€ฆ it means find someone more suitable. Nothing is changing which is honest in a way but kind of coded. Age and experience talking here.

  11. Oh myโ€ฆ..There should have been a warning that I would laugh so hard. Recovering from surgery and watching my fav GA! Aaron was hilarious! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  12. Move the oaks!!! Florida 9a here and the leaf litter from Oaks is intense! Even during season you get leaves falling off with heavy winds and rain. I love the look, but cannot stand the mess.

  13. What an extra fun recap!
I'd like to toss a few more cringy phrases:
"At the end of the day"
    "Low hanging fruit"
    "Red meat"
    "24-7"
    "Alltimers disease"

  14. The old fashion monarda is a horrible spreader. I planted it many years ago and Iโ€™m still fighting it in my gardens. The new ones will not spread like that.

  15. Garden tours allow us to see plants in their various stages. It also allows us to understand the growing environment where you live. …also, it might be the shortest one of the year. I'm thinking with the new property and new areas you've developed that soon instead of walking it'll be easier to do them from the gator.

  16. So much fun with the recap videos! Hilarious! The agave plant discussion wasdramatic and so funny! Love it! Blessings!

  17. Love the painter's house. Black trim, columns and ground fx, with the white bricks. Modern and yet classic. Thanks for the pic! ๐Ÿ˜€

  18. Sounds like the pond is very high maintenance and very costly. I hope you are saving money for your old age because you are really spending thousands. The price of groceries today some people arenโ€™t able to buy food, buy medicine and have heat at the same time. They have to choose how far their social security check will go.

  19. re baby fish If they son't have floating plant (water hyacinth or water lettuce) to hide in or very shallow ares to grow a bit bigger all will be eaten by the adult fish Which is not a bad thing as you don't want 500 fish in the pond.

  20. I love watching your recap videos (well, I love all your videos and have learned SO much from you – thank you). You and Aaron are such a good team and it's great to see you having fun together while discussing whatever comes up in the questions. I was wondering, though, how long it takes you to film the recap videos? Are they heavily edited for time, or is it more a case of what we see is pretty much all there was to see (outside interruptions aside)?

  21. I think sewing an elastic strap in between the two shoulder straps on the back would solve that problem with the hipweighters Laura
