  1. Thanks for this. I worry about additives and heavy metals in store bought Turmeric powder. Question: how did you shred the rood prior to sun drying it, and anything need to be done to the roots before that? Thanks.

  3. I would like to share my experience. You have chopped, dried n then powered turmeric hence you got orange powder. Try drying your turmeric bulbs without chopping them (dry them whole), you'll get yellow turmeric powder. Its all about oxidation and colour change. We make our own turmeric power from dried bulbs not after chopping. Yellow is true colour.
