I would like to have a garden except that the desert is too extreme. Frequent high winds a few times a week, extreme temperatures and vapor pressure deficit in the summer, solar radiation of up to 1,200 + Watts per meter squared, 160 F ground temperature, rabbits. and ground squirrels make the desert hell on Earth for any vegetable garden.

What’s a garden? I’ve heard about them I think. And I also heard you grow vegetables in a garden although that’s only rumor. But I ate some vegetables yesterday when I had a couple cans of yummy Progresso soup. And it said on the label I had two servings of vegetables when I drank a glass of Spicy-Hot V8. I actually really like that vegetable-in-a-bottle concoction. That’s as close as I come to Mother Nature. And that’s about all.
