Tried this on my luffas, birdhouse, dipper, and bushel gourds and did not get the same results. Threw them all in the ground to see what happens. wish me luck because I hope I didn’t kill them all
It's probably best not to clip the pointy of end of melon/gourd/cucumber seeds, since that's where some of the most important parts of the seed is located. It's probably better to nick a side or the rounded end

Thanks I tried it and worked well for me.
Does this process apply bitter melon seeds?
Ohhh amazing 😍
For luffas we used to rough up the entire seed by using fine sand paper.
Does it work for spinach?

Garden look amazing❤
Well that was one tip. But good to know. Things I wish I’d seen before sewing seeds today. 😂
Jeepers! Sounds like an awesome tip! Thanks!
I just started 144 melon/pumpkin/squash and pole bean seeds yesterday! Wish I would have seen this first!
Works for pepper seeds too

Love your casts… I've learned to not plant too early inside!!
Tried this with pumpkins and had no success. Better off just sprouting before hand between damp paper towels.
So curcubits, cut the tips?
