I’m finishing up the design of a new flower bed. Planting a tree rose. I’m making a peat flower bed for rhododendrons and other plants that love acidic soil.

  1. On my site the soil is neutrally acidic, and I really wanted to plant plants that love acidic soil. So I bought peat blocks and sour peat. Everything I planted in this flowerbed has taken root very well. On top of the peat I laid out fallen leaves and pine needles from the forest.

I planted a tree rose, Rosarium Uetersen. Tree roses are planted at an angle, so that it is easier to bring it to the ground in the winter and so that the trunk does not break.
