Well, that's a wrap. One whole year of update posts. Although it has a habit of growing too big too fast, the grass has proven to be quite the survivor. The wood sorrel seems to have been the second most widely spreading of the plants in the tank. Kinda bummed out that the rattlesnake weed didn't survive. I REALLY liked it a lot. 🙁 Not too surprising though, since it tends to prefer drier soil (hence its name). Rather surprised that the wild lily is still doing so, being that it seemingly nearly died early on. I think I now know why the purple wood sorrel died. Its dark, kinda reddish sort of have a built in sun block, which means it needs very bright light. That's the exact opposite of what I thought and provided for it. 🙁 Overall, I'd say it was rather fun to have made such an interesting looking and large terrarium. 🙂 I think my big project will be a second attempt at making a naturalistic paludarium solely from native materials (possibly with the exception of some non-native aquatic plants). See you all then! 😁
