I picked up a few of the bigger vertical towers at dollar tree. They are not as big as my good ones but close in size. I seen people using them on YouTube. So I am going to try some strawberries in them.

For some reason, my plants that I started from seed are not growing at a normal rate. They are so tiny. Would I be better off just scrapping them and go buy some more established plants?

For the second year in a row. I’ve not been able to find ladder mesh. It’s been very frustrating
You utilize a lot of creative ways to grow vertical. I'm looking to install some metal closet shelving or something similar in my shed to use as curing racks for my onions, garlic, potatoes, etc. Something like you have your peas growing up in the bed with your bib lettuce. Can you purchase individual pieces like that at the big box stores? I browsed online and everything seems to be expensive kits. Or do you have any other ideas of what I could use that's open and would provide good airflow? thanks
In Ohio I was 5:17 warned not to plant Liatrus. That it can cross pollinate with its wild version and become invasive. I do not find that on line. Do you know anything about this? We were warned to eradicate the wild version from the edges of our fields.
I’ve laid bird netting over my thick trellises to give the peas, beans, cucumbers, whatever better support. You can hardly see it but you have to watch out for them growing into it because it will misshape the fruit.
All early seeding does is feed the squirrels and slugs. I have to grow most as starts before planting☹️
Off subject but im thinking of growing my fruit tree in a container because my soil is clay and it dont drain that well. Its a cocktail tree plum, nectarines and peaches what size container and what soil mix would you suggest you think a wicking bed at least until maybe i can work on a spot for it to go in ground.

I planted my (barely) sprouted peas on 3/25 which is a bit late for me and so far not much is happening🤔 I had the soil warming under black plastic and I covered them with a tiny bit of straw. I’m hoping they shoot up soon…I saw a couple of them breaking the surface. We had a lot of rain and cold temperatures here in S CT over the past couple weeks. If nothing happens in the next week should I start again? I grow up cattle panels and I utilize the same space for beans and cucumbers after peas are done. I hope you’re right about radishes waiting for the right temps ….honestly I find it hard to figure radishes out???? I tried a new spot with more sun on 3/27 and so far not a single leaf!! Your garden is amazing thanks for sharing with us. I’m wondering did you do a video on the cold frame installation. I’m thinking I should try one, my house is full of peppers and eggplant.
