  4. I have grown cabbages for many many years and most years they don’t make a good head or not at all. I use blood and bone and also leaves and cover. I just can’t figure it out. I didn’t plant any this year

  5. I hope your cabbages grow well. I’m a zone below you and mine have already bolted. I’m learning to plant my brassicas only in the fall. Blessings

  6. Well you have confirmed what I have suspected all along that bugs can smell new plants in the ground. I will be working on getting my cabbage, onions, kale, and potatoes tomorrow as I had to get more pots. Have to look into getting some voile fabric – found a place online with an Easter sale. Does not sound like it lasts from one season to the next so need to plan for that. Don't forget this is tax month but the plants come first…

  7. Looks like there might be a more reasonable, durable and wider fine mesh netting in gardening supplies online at Walmart or Amazon. Use my Amazon link at no extra cost to you!

  8. Your energy level is amazing, I lack patience when I have to wait for weeks or months for a vegetable or fruit to bloom. Watching you makes me feel exhausted. I don’t know how you do it for 12 years and manage a YouTube channel at the same time. I guess if you enjoy it, it’s a hobby. I enjoy following your channel all these years. 😊

  9. Hello gorgeous. I heard you a little winded while you worked. Looking in on you & seeing you from time to time is a blessing. 💜💪☮️☯️⚖️🌎🇺🇲

  10. Robbie of Robbie and Gary Gardening Easy uses tulle all the time and has an EBay link where you can get it by the bolt. I think I only paid around $12 for a bolt and it came quickly too.

  11. I’m hoping you had a Blessed Resurrection Day, Kaye! You surely are an inspiring example to get out and get our hands dirty. I thought of you in traffic the other day as the landscaping truck in front of me at the stoplight had a ground covering advertisement on the back end. I forgot the name but I said to myself, “that’s what Kaye uses” Thank you for sharing your wisdom and most of all, your spirit and may God grant you a beautiful harvest this year! Xx…

  12. Lovely, lovely video, Kaye. Watched it as we are driving around Madisonville on errands. Between cabbage moths, squash bugs and deer I have little left but okra and peppers. 😩

  13. That's a good way to stay fit! I've been looking at foldible wagons to use in my garden and I notice you have one. How do you like it? Who makes yours?
