Monstera leaves are like fingerprints: unique to each leaf and the pattern DOES NOT CHANGE from unfurl to death. Look closely at each photo – you can identify the leaf through its history.
–
1️⃣ May 2020: saying goodbye to this leaf – I time lapsed the final days. I admit it’s a bit soon but the plant had been stuck in too small of a pot for the year prior and was attached by thrips.
–
2️⃣ March 2020: bringing the plant home from church before the pandemic shut downs.
–
3️⃣ Early 2020 back to 4️⃣ late 2018: transferring the plant back to my home – this was in the parking garage hallway.
–
5️⃣ Late August 2018: taking the cutting. At this point in time, the leaf was the newest one.
–
6️⃣ Early August 2018: the first photo I took with the leaf. As I combed through my photos, I’m guessing that the leaf unfurled sometime in July 2018. I don’t have any photos of it because I was away on honeymoon for a few weeks.
