So this is your spinach bed right yeah correct and there was a tunnel over it all winter right right spinach is the most winter hearty crop and it would survive without a tunnel but I did have a tunnel over this and um it’s sad that uh we’re only looking at it today

Because when I took the tunnel off uh a week ago it was I I harvested it was looking amazing but the rabbits have gotten to it then the rabbits are super bad in this neighborhood ter we don’t have deer as bad but rabbits are really bad I know so frustrating so yeah I

Moved the tunnel over to here because that’s where I planted my first planting of salad mix and I wanted to warm the soil for that crop and also I put the tunnel over it about a week and a half before I seeded my salad so that I could

Warm the soil and get any weeds that might germinate to germinate and then so I I H it right before seeding okay so you warmed it up clean it up and and then you SE it after which we’ll look at next but yeah so what’s next for the

Spach here yeah I need to keep the rabbits from eating it so uh you know it’s still got leaves and and detritus here from the winter I’m going to rake this clean and then I’m going to put down some uh Frost Fabric or row cover

And this I have found that to Be an Effective barrier that the the bunnies don’t chew through or get underneath um do you just need to put it on at night or do you leave it on you can leave it on all day and that’s no problem you can

Leave it on all day at this time of the year if if it was warmer out then I would uh be cautious about that because the spinach it just it’s too warm for it it does heat it up underneath it likes it a little cooler so so um so this you

You’ve Rak up a little bit of this and you’ll just uh keep raking it up and then give it a cover and exactly it all should be good then yeah
