Spent some quality time with my peace lily this morning – just some regular grooming:
2️⃣ After: all cleaned of debris!
3️⃣ Before: I hadn’t been consistently removing the dead leaves so 4️⃣ this is about a few month’s worth of them (old flowers too).

Gardeners recognize that cleaning up dead stuff is part of the job but typical houseplant care advice makes you think every little imperfection is a sign of something wrong. I’m telling you all those browned leaves is nothing to be alarmed about – 5️⃣ clearly my plant would not have grown from this tiny pot to its current one over the past 6 years if there was “something wrong”
