  1. So tempted to do this with the odd weather this spring but know I got a couple weeks before I can seed in ground as it’s still to cold here. Getting beds all ready to go so when time comes we can hit the ground running

  2. I bought the coco coir with perlite. Can I use it for the outdoor bed or is it not best?
3rd time starting seeds, keep getting gnats
    🙁
    Thanks so much, Luke!

  3. We are still planting in milkjugs to get a good start outdoors. Zucchini and cucumbers are next. Hope it works so we don't have to drag plants in and out of the breezeway.

  4. Thanks for showing the process ❤💪🙏 Makes me want to order more seeds Of Course!😉 Spring Fever Kicking In.🤒💻👀🌷☕🎊So Ready for Sun. 😎🌞

  5. My hisband is a farmer, not far from Port Huron. He no till farms.
He has told me that sun needs to get between the rows to avoid fungus and pests that thrive in dark damp places. This avoids the need to use anti fungals and other sprays.

So I understand growing the plants close together, but maybe some sun between the rows may be beneficial?

  6. Don’t know if it’s genetic like cilantro tasting like soap, but arugula tastes like Diesel fumes to me. It’s so bad I don’t want to smell them.

  7. Starting seeds this weekend! But will try planting some things in tje garden next week too and see if they will come up! Thank you for this one! Love your seeds by the way! Buy most all my seed from you!

  8. It would’ve been nice to see how all of those small/short root crops would have survived in a Greenstalk instead of herbs and lettuces, which would obviously survive in a Greenstalk. I don’t think they require a lot of sunlight, so maybe the indoor grow lights would work as well. I saw a video the other day of someone planting zucchini and peas, etc in her Greenstalk. The roots seem to be coming out so those crops would probably not be healthy over a period of time, although hers looked OK. Those small root vegetables, even onions, I think would be OK in a Greenstalk. The challenge is mimicking the soil from the ground when it comes to potted plants.

  9. This is just the motivation I needed to get out and film the first real garden video of the year!! Thanks for the constant uploads! You’ve inspired me to try my best to be more consistent!🌿🫶🏼

  10. This Fella is Wonderful. Planting a Garden is like printing MONEY! He would make a wonderful Fed Chair, but would become Board very quickly! Hand Sowed 600 seed Onions the Soil yesterday with the two dogs that tolerate me. Came in contact with one snake, a bee, centipede, cricket, and hordes of Earthworms just a few inches down in the Soil. Oh! did I mention the untold infinite Health Benefits of interacting with Dirt? Priceless! And to think on last Monday morning it was 1 deg F here in Wyoming. Spring is coming.

  11. Luke, im from Wisconsin and im here to tell you that is indeed a flurry. Its not a snow shower until it accumulates on the ground.
    Great direct sowing tips!

  12. Hiya, Luke! ❤ Love that you’re out there sowing as snow is drifting about. 😂 Thank you for another enjoyable, motivational video. I will definitely sow something this weekend! 🥰🌱❤️

  13. I. bought Slobolt, Bronze Mignonette, Red Romaine, and Oakleaf lettuce seeds from your online store a couple months ago. Are these good for dense spacing in this video? What lettuce cultivar did you sow in this video? Thank you.

  14. Thanks Luke for the push to plant now. I put peas in old gutters yesterday in the garden under trellises. I hadn't even thought about starting anything in my beds yet. I will be out tomorrow morning planting in my garden, here in Manistee area, in Northern Michigan.

  15. I grew up in the Detroit area so I know all about that weather. My husband and I moved down to Ohio and it is not much different.
