Move bins to the light?

I recently put in some raised beds and used my mom's compost piles from her bins mixed with coir and perilite. Then began fresh with all the bins cleaned out and yard waste from spring clean filling up 2 chicken wire ones and 2 rounds. Before I fill up the others, should I move them to a lighter spot? They get sun in the morning right now, but as the trees leaf out, they get very little sunlight to break the piles down! Thanks for any insight!

Black bins can get very hot in direct sun. Could kill worms or other fauna in there. Also the sun will break down the plastic and make it brittle. Those would be my concerns.

i trash can compost and they seem to compost at the same rate no matter where they are. i do spend a good deal of time maintaining them though. i mix/stir/turn when the temps fall below 100F all year long, as the weather permits.

I am pretty simple, so I would skip the bins and just put it all in a pile in the ground. It will be easier to turn and get more air.
