They Look Edible But These “Berries” Pack A Vicious Surprise ๐Ÿ“โš ๏ธ

Lurking beneath the water’s surface, a sinister invasion is unfolding. Disguised as harmless raspberry-like clusters, these egg clutches conceal a devastating threat โ€“ the apple snail. With a single female capable of laying up to 15,000 eggs annually, these invasive mollusks are rapidly spreading, devouring aquatic habitats and leaving no room for other life. Lacking natural predators, they seem unstoppable, potentially harboring toxins and parasites that even pose risks to human health. Authorities race to contain this environmental crisis, urging the destruction of both eggs and adult snails before it’s too late.

  1. There are two kinds of apple snail: Black apple snail and Yellow apple snail.
They maybe dangerous for ecosystem, but…
Black one is quite high demanded dish in SEA. Meanwhile the yellow one is also a nice dish. We SEA love to have it with ginger fish sauce.

You should try, too. Taste even better than pork. ;))

  2. China does this to our countryside, our Vietnamese farms. You guys be ware ๐Ÿ™‚ eco balance is hard to tip but also hard to reverse

  3. Another invasive species from Asia. ๐Ÿ™„ add that to the murder hornets, emerald ash bore, and Asian carp. Globalism and its consequences have been an absolute disaster.

  4. Because every snail has toxins and every snow has parasites like the raspberry snail but the French is figured out how to cook them and kill off the parasites and kill off the toxins so why can we not learn from the French and learn from the Romans that did that control the snow population by getting hunting parties and freaking eating them to death becoming the predator of the snail

  6. Some says it's a species we have to protect as it's nearly to extinct. meanwhile, some says Apple snails increases their species so fast and it's harmful for human,it kills others snails, it' is abundantly found in jungle.so we have to crush it when we see their pinky eggs.
I'm confused what to do, what not to do.

  7. Yeah but there are native species of apple snails in the US tooโ€ฆ so make sure you donโ€™t just blindly destroy snail eggs. You need to learn the difference in their appearance first

  8. Why not let them play their in nature and let natural prediator grow that's how nature grows or evolve. If it's not poisonous to human

  9. Fact: Invasive is when a specie is introduced into unknown territories and fucks up the ecosystem
Though Native is when they're in origin lands and can't really be killed
