This is also the first collection release I’ll be offering float style framing through Simply Framed. They are affordable, high quality frames, handcrafted in the US. Float style framing is a method where the artwork is attached to a foam core lift hidden behind the art then mounted on a mat. It’s how you get that nice drop shadow below the paper, showing off the pretty deckled edges and drawing attention to the art. After that is complete they use a spacer to create space between the plexiglass and surface of the work, which is shadow boxing. We will have mockups in each painting listing so you can see an example. I’d love to handle your framing for you (to risk anything happening to your new investment) but if you choose to frame with a local framer or diy I’ll be happy to help you with those selections too.
