EPCOT All Topiaries & FOOD! 2024 Flower & Garden Festival Day 1

It was a blast to see so many colleagues at Day 1 of this years (2024) Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, going now through May 27, 2024. Ran into some great other youtubers such as the incomparable @TheTimTracker @RONONTHEGO @DisLyfeOfOurs @TomDoesDisney @ThatCrazyDisneyLady @AdventuresByCARNEY and I am sure so many others were there I didn’t even get to see! I know @ACinderellaWish was there but somehow we didn’t quite cross paths.

Today’s vlog not only takes us back to Spaceship Earth…my first ride in over a year, but we go through ALL of the Flower and Garden Topiaries, a deeper dive on my favorite outdoor garden of the Japan Pavilion, and of course…a look at ALL of the currently open Food Kiosks. Louie topiaries very cool and Bubbles why are there always bubbles there’s always bubbles coming from somewhere ah look it’s as if Epcot is giving birth to figment a figment of the Imagination are those supposed to be Hidden Mickey flowers I’m not sure all right we’ve got our flower and garden 2024 guide book and we’re going to use this and start finding the Festival uh food kiosk Festival Food booths let’s go this is interesting this open empty

Spot now usually they have this set up so I’m very very curious uh if they’re going to set that up this year there’s usually some seaing areas some pretty uh flower garden area topiary things that they bring in but they did very I mean it was a pretty quick switch over between

Uh between art and Flower and Garden festivals so I’m not sure if they’ll do anything with this or not this year we’ll see it’s not quite open yet it’s about to open at 11:00 the Epcot Farmers Feast got Farmers Feast has early bloom menu so they’ve got the first month February 28th

Between March 30th it’s going to be ve loin grilled street corn on the C and strawberry rhubarb upside down cake so that looks pretty good it’s not ready yet look at they making that fresh corn on the CB Looks So Delicious Garden rocks concerts here so

Let’s see oo March 3rd and 4th is going to be Richard Marks I might have to come out to see that let’s see Rick Springfield March 10th and 11th oh my goodness so we have jod MS is April 12th and 13th so I might have to come out and see her

I love when they do the flowers out here it just makes for such a beautiful shot of what’s already beautiful scenery and in The Odyssey building they have the Citrus Blossom that is orange sesame tempor shrimp and lemon mering pie you can also get the orange lemon smoothie

With the souvenir orange bird sipp sipper if you want that and then of course plenty of alcohol which I never focus on cuz I don’t drink greetings from the Epcot International flower and garden festival and then inside the audio you actually have the indoor seating area used to be a show in here

About like 40 years ago when it first open it’s so it’s so orangey over here this is the Citrus Blossom and in the see everything’s orange bird and orange tempor chick no not chicken it’s a shrimp there so so much fun though my gosh and I got some water for

Uh way over there in the distance I don’t know if you can see her but there’s Snow Whites meat and greet also here in Germany we have these Little Gnome have these Little Gnome topi areas right Here so for Italy we have the Prima Vera kitchen bonini mozzarella bini grape tomatoes pesto sauce Arata quatro fori and chocolate canoli this look pretty good if you’re in the mood for Italian moving on there’s Italy Sun’s overhead right now must be close to noon all right we’re going back into Italy

Black olives which I really like I might get that spicy chicken gumbo and then they have a Bananas Foster bread pudding oh my gosh that looks to die for doesn’t it now I’m not trying a whole lot of food right now on this particular Vlog

American Pavilion then I walked all the way from America to Japan to find a seat place to eat all right let’s go see go ahead and see how this eats up it’s pretty good very light it’s a light sandwich very first thing I’ve eaten for the 2024 flower and garden

Festival I’d give it a six of 10 not great but I mean obviously it’s good it’s not exceptional as it turns out the uh Olive and onion salad was the best part it’s a tiny little thing it’s like like a te teaspoonful but it was the best part of

That Panini uh dish from America so while we’re here though at the flower and garden festival I want to show you the best Gardens here year round at Epcot that is the Japanese Gardens here at the Japanese Pavilion so yeah this will be kind of a a quick tour of the

Japanese Gardens but it’s always just it’s beautiful up here it’s very tranquil there are spots to sit in the shade I love watching this bamboo fills up with water and uh when it gets full enough it’s going to dump it out at the other End wait for it wait for it and there it goes is that cool and the decor up here is just very very cool I’ve never been to Japan so I don’t know if it really feels like you’re in Japan if you’re up here but it feels very Japanese from an American

Point of view View at the very Least there’s a lot of bonide trees on display right now as well over here too and they have Koi pond koi Garden traditional cocoa are displayed on saucers or stone platforms contemporary artists wind the Moss ball with string to hang from ceilings or porches often creating a forest web of fanciful plants

Japanese flower art and over here you can see I’ve got quite the display bonsai trees Bonsai I don’t want to go through all of them they’re very very cool There’s 7 8 9 10 on this way over here up and down this walk Japanese tower building they have

The drummers come out and play take this walking path over here you can see the fish cord Garden Below got pour in the pond Of course this view is very famous here at Epcot but for flower and garden in front of it you’re going to see this topar Dragon we’re going to come up on here quickly while there’s nobody in in front of it very cool topiary Dragon over

Here food kiosk here at uh Japan is the Hanami food kiosk and that is home of the very very famous or has become famous over the last few years fushi frui you can see a picture of it down here it is strawberry pineapple and ly wrapped in coconut rice and pink soy

I’ve served whipped cream drizzled raspberry sauce and toasted cocon it’s like a sushi dessert that has no fish in it it’s just fruit and rice basically and they got the steam bun filled with vegetables and plant-based soy me and a Ramen cup you Ramen to catch Festival merchandise at these Festival

Markets here they have a lot of dolls but they also have like uh Chia Pet looking things over there that you can grow your uh like Mickey Mouse you can grow Vines and stuff on hi ho it’s Kermit the Frog reporting live from the Epcot 2024 flower and garden festival I am here

A park hopping day and you’re hopping between Epcot and Hollywood it’s a very easy hop because either that boat down there or the Skyliner will take you right over to Epcot hop skiing a jump and you can come right back if you want or maybe you want to spend the day here

In hcop but go see Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios at night you can do that too it is up to you if you are Park hoen shout out to the park hoppen Channel very cool Channel very very good Channel Park hoppen and everything that it is connected to as well looks like

Kiosk big Bambi dumper flower there’s usually a kios or two over here and this area is unusually blank so they must have moved those I have to go check out the center I haven’t checked out the center of Epcot or the Epcot Center yet welcome to Honey beo

Garden the honey be stro see what they did there oh they have chicken and waffles over here let’s take a look maybe that’s in the new area all right so at the honey beastro you’ve got the chicken and waffles crispy chicken WAFF honey sweet cornbread waffle and whipped honey butter spicy

Honey then honey glaze cauliflower carrot puree W peof sunflower brittle a Liquid Nitro honey Marcone cheesecake over here they tell you how honey bees feed the world apples and asparagus cucumbers and cherries blackberries and broccoli every third bite of food we eat is pollinated by honey bees choosing honey helps

Flowers one of my favorite things about flowering Garden are the flowers that they put around these Retention Ponds here yeah so pretty we’ got uh let’s see butterfly flower butterfly flower all the way around very cool and it and it smells okay here too which is a good thing the brilliant

Yellow of this tree right Here saw a buzz on the other side here we got woody and uh peep over here we we got teone and Pumba from The Lion King I can see what’s happening what and they don’t have a clue who they’ll fall in love and here’s the bottom line our trios down to two

Over on this side we got The Lion King look got some trees up back there I don’t know if those were even there last time I was here behind those walls so that’s good work is coming along quick sneak peek of the progress on the ever lasting construction of communicore the new communicore Hall whatever it’s going to be

Called man that’s taking forever I imagine it will be done and open maybe this year I think it was supposed to be open in December of last year but here we are almost March not open yet still under construction there is the center of Epcot right now or the Epcot

Center Epcot is giving birth to figment if you will so flowery and at what time did they change the configuration of those pink flowers we’ve also got Festival kiosks back here in the central area now Festival Market if you will got a Sunglass Hut market and then they’ve got the uh

Metal Decor Market let’s see if there’s a gecko over there let’s see we’ve got Micky we’ve got Birds we’ve got poo we got Stitch figment The mandalas are new that just keep staring at these keep staring your eyelids are getting very heavy breathe in breathe out you’re getting sleepy just relax do some ASMR in the background I think I see a character over here I know somebody who probably knows who she

Is look look it’s Daisy Duck she’s meeting and greeting friends over here here is the brunch cot kiosk the brunch cot kiosk has avocado toast this is pretty famous and pretty good they also have a biscuit and gravy which I’m probably going to have to try that because that is one of

My favorite things to eat even though it’s usually horrible for me although this time it’s complete plant-based biscuit and gravy with impossible chicken fried steak and impossible sauce is gravy if it’s impossible I got to try it the avocado toast is also really really always good all right we’ve got the avocado

Toast and the biscuits and gravy now this one really interes me because that sausage is not real sausage it’s made with the impossible meat so I’m interested in seeing if it tastes any good and this extra avocado toast is um for my wife I’m going to bring it home

To her so she gets the opportunity to try one all right I’m especially interested to try the impossible meat sausage on this biscuits and gravy so I’m just going to dig into this normally biscuits and gravy is one of my favorite meals you’ll see how I like

It it’s not as crumbly as what I like when the biscuits and gravy are really fresh and the regular biscans gravy is so good let’s see how this impossible meat taste it’s okay but I can immediately immediately tell that it’s vegan that it’s not it doesn’t taste bad

But I’m like I’ve always felt this way why if you’re vegan if you try to impersonate me just don’t eat meat got the avocado toast over there for that so it’s not it’s not bad but again it’s not great it’s okay it’s not something I’m going to

Have again but I’m going to go ahead and eat the rest of now it’s also uh the biscuits and gravy is also extremely salty way too salty this avocado toast is so pretty I almost don’t want to eat it there’s a tomato I’m going to pick

Up look at that so pretty so pretty now I got my cheese falling off I don’t want that I wonder if the cheese is big on this too let me take a bite of the avocado toast and see if I like it it’s very loaded we have avocado all over

Me but the avocado toast is good I would get the avocado toast again I would not get the biscuits and gravy again so there you go thanks for coming in today everyone to our peak of the first day flower and garden festival here at
