Hey what’s up YouTube in today’s video I want to do a garden tour update for the month of February so as you know last year I planted these four trees and uh as of right now you can see they’re not really active except for this Flor Prince preach uh I don’t know
Why this one’s active right now um doesn’t make sense to me but anyway this one still is active uh these other trees are not um this two tree you can see is leaning weird I think I should tighten it more with the that green string I use but yeah
Right now that’s how it looks and that’s pretty much it with that actually this one looks like it’s becoming more active I don’t if you see this but you see the greenery well maybe but yeah this one looks like clam back I think this one’s Plum hold
On yeah satuma Plum and this one’s my Apple I got another Apple yesterday so I’ll show you what the apple looks like um the Apple’s not otive right now either but yes this is the Apple so let me show you the rais beds um if you remember last year I made
This one uh when I was back filling it I made a a cheap backfill rais bed just because I use a little bit of peas and M soil so that’s really cheap so what I got going down right now is broccoli um as you see not too many came up or what
I planed didn’t survive so I’m surprised these even survive my winter and S give me some broccoli like this broccoli H so maybe we can get a harvest before spring or summer should I say um you can see there’s a lot of weeds coming up too and there’s a hole
Or my dog dug up which made me upset but what can you do um for spring I have I’m plan to a whole bunch of peppers in here so please subscribe if you want to keep up with me and see how I do that as of
Right now it’s drawing a bunch of weeds and a little bit of uh a main crop okay so this is the expensive back fill and the only reason why I call that is because I put a i back with a bunch of compost that I bought from the store
Um if you saw that video then you’ll know that it was $10 a bag so I put two bags in here it’s like 20 bucks you can see over there weeds are growing but I don’t know why it’s only over there it’s kind of weird but
Anyway um you can see that I was trying to grow uh a cabbage and only one survived and the rest didn’t even come up or survive for whatever reason I don’t know but uh again during the spring and summer months I’m G back fill this with
More compost and uh I think I’m gonna plant corn and beans this year so yeah uh that’s another video entirely so again please subscribe keep up with me um here’s a new ra bed that I built uh you see I’m still trying to back fill
It so I need more dirt uh I got more paper but I don’t need paper now but I just need soil um and my compost is not ready so I don’t want to put compost yet but yeah uh what I plan on going here for the first season I guess it’s just beans
Just cuz um my n so isn’t that great and I want to unlock some of the of the nitrogen from the legumes hold on all right guys like I was saying I’m still trying to back fill this rais bed oh yeah by the way today’s a completely different day if you couldn’t sell
Already uh yeah I was just busy the other day so now I’m going to finish it today um like I said I want to try to grow Backus f up as much as I can with some metal soil and grow cover crop and then uh when it’s finally time grow some
Beans just because beans is Legume it doesn’t need extra nitrogen it just makes its own nitrogen but yeah let me take you on the other ra beds okay guys so if you saw my previous video uh you’ll see that I that this raised bed is actually uh growing potatoes now even
Though it’s raining I’m not worried too about it right now because there’s no roots it’s not growing or anything right now so whatever extra water this gets it’ll just drain down and then uh when it starts developing Roots uh it’ll pop up on its own but yeah this is this four
4×4 raised bed and these are some containers that I have uh I’m planning to do something different here I’m plan to grow like tomatoes and thos over here I plan to switch that coner for one of these but as of right now this is going to stay right right here uh I’m probably
Grow a tree in that one but that’s a different video entirely I’ll show you that in a future video right now it’s just too wet to even make that video and you can see over here I was growing in containers also um these are sweet peas uh the previous containers I showed
You I was trying to grow uh another type of pee a long bean pee I think it was called but those didn’t come up for whatever reason but these sweet peas came up um hopefully it’ll start Fring for me soon and this raised bed I was growing
Lettuce as you can see um over there I didn’t grow anything because I didn’t grow enough lettuce human error um yeah let me show you a different part okay so on Saturday or Sunday I went to the store and got two new trees and one new Bush uh this one is pink
Lady and this one is a cherry and over here I have containers these are are red bell radish these uh I planted like a month ago this about two weeks ago and then I PL in these about a couple days ago and I’m trying to grow some caus so
This is what it looks like so far and if you come over here I have a blueberry uh it looks sad because it’s cold and here’s my lime tree that also looks sad because just Mr Le been pretty warm but not enough to bring it back to life or
Make it active again just like the blueberries uh they’re not dead they’re just kind of asleep and same thing with this Citrus this is a lemon I forget the righty though but yeah and I have this it’s the same thing as the bush I showed you earlier uh thorland boy Berry the only
Difference is that this one isn’t active right now well they both not active right now but um I don’t know anyway if you look over here this is my car his bed uh there’s some weeds growing in here so that’s unfortunate but it’ll be easy during the spring and
Summer months when it’s time to plant uh just take out these uh carrots these weeds and plant what to plant which by the way I still don’t have an idea on what I plant over here so maybe you guys can give me ideas uh last year I
Grew uh bell peppers excuse me um maybe this year we can grow different variety of peppers or just something that’s completely different uh I don’t know let me know and if remember last year these were my three 15 gallon containers experiments uh this one’s just my native
Soil this is my sandy soil this is the biochar native soil and all them had 10% compost um you can see it right now just growing weeds but this year I’ve plan growing Pepper Peppers in all of these and yeah hopefully um spring comes sooner than later so I could do that I
Don’t know if I should do uh ceilings in a cup and then planting here or or just put in here directly uh I think I want to yeah I don’t know yet I have to decide but yeah let me show you the last thing in all right guys this is the last
Tree or plant I’m going to show you because it’s still winter so it’s nothing is really active this is the wonderful pomegranate and uh you can see it looks like it’s dead but it’s not I think it it’s actually starting to butt up a little bit uh let me see if I can
There we go a little bit of leaves very tiny right now but once it starts waking up it’s start looking more beautiful and uh oh I did get rid of that plastic bag but you you see around it I have a little bit aloe vera some garlic just so
