I’m Adam, I’m Emmie, I’m Graham,  I’m Gavin, I’m Jenny I am Vic Izzy Owens also known as The Happy Runner [Music] whats happening *everyone laughs* [Music] right have we got everyone so there are two things that you guys can do that will get our team disqualified ok

If you you give us any assistance after the lap has started and   that’s even passing us a jacket into the pen anything okay so you can take us but once we’re in that pen that’s it if the crew is seen doing anything like that our  

Entire team will be disqualified okay so at the  point where we’re really broken so that’s going   to happen um and we come in and we say we just  can’t go we just can’t do anymore you need to  

Just put us on the start line it we don’t have  to go you just need to put us on the start line where’s the pen, from this start line, we’re on it

So this area is the pen, so talking about the warning bell, that is going to sound at 3 minutes 2 minutes or 1 minute to   so when that sounds at 3 minutes and that goes  off that’s the perfect time to encourage us to  

Get mobile again it could take that long for us  to start moving so get us out of our chairs get   as coherent as possible again yeah get us moving  um and just keep normality in our Insanity okay  

So routine is going to be great for us coming in  and doing the same thing over and over again if   someone says they want something next time so  that we can write it down you

Supposed to either put down what I have had or what I’m saying I’d like and also I I don’t no one’s got   any allergies or medical conditions that they’ve warned us about, me and gav are vegan

So there’s um loads of cooking stuff but if you  could please for us make would just be so grateful [Music] oh thank you very much I’m Jadu, I’m Dave I’m from Denby, I’m Nikki  I’m from Somerset and um I’m the owner of Flanci  

I’m Amanda I’m married to Graham check on them  see what they need and make sure they’ve got   what whatever they want y ready in advance as  well that we we’ve got stuff prepped for them yeah   it’s really important to be proactive rather  than reactive especially when you’re on the  

Clock cuz we haven’t got time to respond to  things we need to know what they need before   they know they need it yeah so make sure they’ got  hot drinks some food are there any niggles get them  

Sorted make sure they’re going out warm enough  um yeah and then getting them up ready moving   before the uh the time whistle goes yep you’ve  got a a separate tent haven’t you at the back   so there’s sleeping bags, there is duvets  for whoever needs it really  

Got a beer tent ah it’s definitely isn’t it food drink  rest warm drink keeping everyone warm and and   moving yeah definitely and mentally spirits keep  spirits up and recognizing when they want help and   when they just need leaving I know and I’ve done  Ultras sometimes I want to hug and there’s other  

Times I’m just like leave me alone and it’s like  Vic said earlier don’t take anything personally   because there will be ratty and they will scream  at us and you’ll think and that is to be expected   because you go through all sorts of emotions you  do so yeah we just be there for whatever 

Lovely jublee welcome to the first ever Rasselbock backyard ultra um there’s   a lot of you here 150 of you running today um so  thank you all for coming along and supporting very   very excited to see how you all do today I think  we’ got uh quite a lot of fresh legs I think it’s  

120 of you who are your first time backyarders  uh so you’re going to have an awesome time [Music] How’s it going yeah it’s good it’s nice to start  running we walk the first 3 minutes and   then we really wanted to start running cuz we were  getting cold but we got to walk we’re going to finish too fast Feel like I should run over the Finish line  [Applause] I’m on less miles than it   says so I’ve got out an ultra track so it  I thought I was going a lot slower than I  

Was so I kept like thinking oh no I’m slow I’m  too slow I’m too slow whereas actually I’m way   too fast so first lesson yeah first  lesson is I don’t know how fast I’m going number one done done nice to see  how the course lies as well in the first lap If anyone wants a sandwich when  you come back next time tell us now and we’ll get them preppped, marmite for you, can i have the same actually do you know what that  might have to happen yeah Pizza

So I’m Adam I’m from Basingstoke  in Hampshire so I’m Emmie I am um a Ultra Runner   this is my first uh backyard Ultra that I’ve ever  done um I’m quite the fan of of loop races so uh  

I’ve got high expectations to walk away from here  loving it um yeah looking forward to a good good   challenge I’m Graham I’m from bridgewater I’m Gavin i’m from Ipswich or Trimley St Wells which is near  

To Ipswich I’m 42 years old and I’m here for the  backyard Ultra hi um I’m Jenny um and I’m from   North Wales so um yeah I’m used to running on  hills and Offroad rather than on Forest tracks  

And in the flat um I am Vic Izzy Owens also  known as the happy Runner and I’m from North Wales And you have lovely little bits like this yeah just run the down hill, thats it  i think in the later stages you going to have  to use this to your benefit yeah I love I think you were filming  my feet and I loved that and then I  

Was sudden suddenly thinking about my feet I was like, don’t fall over, don’t fall over tequila welcome welcome back do we have to go over this one no Oh I thought that was the one okay all right  

Oh can I grab one of those little pots to put  in for gav lad one of these ones I got Munchies real early thank you yeah oh that’s close enough  I’ve not had a tea with oat milk before no it’s fine it’s not it’s not a criticism Criticism 10 seconds um I think uh my number one my my top  end goal would be get to 24 hours cuz   that’s 100 miles and I like to do that I’ve  done it a couple of times before but I to  

Do it again um I think my backup goal is  I’ve run one backyard before and I did 16   yards I like to do 17 yards and I think  my my first goal at the absolute minimum   is just honestly it’s just enjoy myself  just got away from here being happy when I finished

The next round have some more  water and active root with sachets in so one full sachet   one full sachet full of water, that would be marvellous, what would you like next round  do you know I’m alright thankyou just whatever

I don’t think i need anything i will just grab a bit of food  I would like an active root please, do you have a bottle, no, yes i do find something somewhere I think I’m  going to try and stay awake I’m I don’t even want  

Five minutes I want to try and keep myself almost  buzzing I want to kind of be awake enough that um   I come in awake enough that I could go back out  again and then I can just top myself back up  

With sugar so I know it’s funny cuz I’ve got a map  and every time I run in a county I colour it in   and I’ve not done I’ve not done nottingamshire so i can tick this one off it’s actually quite nice

I want one of those if it wouldn’t disqualify us i’d have you in there, look, like that I would like to beat my own personal um  uh time uh that I’ve been out running for for  

Ultras I’d like to beat that as a time um I also  would quite like to um be able to run all the way   through the night so past my latest that I’ve  ever been out for as well so either those could  

Be my A or B either way around um and mostly  just just break past the oh I’m tired oh I’m   not sure I can go on when I probably just need  to dig a bit deeper and uh yeah that’s all I  

Need to do is is believe in myself I think um if  I could I def I I definitely want to come out of   here having completed the ultra so that would be  uh eight Loops I think um if I could break the  

18 barrier that would be really great um that’s  that’s that’s my marker point is so making it to a   19th lap would be the one um and then like I said  if I can go into the wee small hours of the morning  

That would be the latest I’ve gone into the day  so they might marry up quite nicely okay so I   want to take it into past midnight maybe 2 3 in  well 3 in the morning would be good yeah crazy to say it like that

Pot noodle and tea just make sure we got that So once that alarm  goes we’ll hit that button and it sets it to the   next hour so I think this next lap I think a few  going to be asking for tops you know Yeah I I done It’s now now I’ve got a bit of a  tight hip still alive yeah just   about doing all right hanging in there  lot of walking which I’m loving  crazy cap lap yeah crazy cap lap, squidge in, squidge in, say crazy hats 1 2 3 jump [Laughter]

You need to get it at a jaunty angle i was thinking that, you look like the eccentric guy in town that you tell your kids not to talk to A goal is is to just go until I drop pretty  much um I did want to do 48 hours but I’ve not  

Trained half enough and I suppose B and C goals is just carry on going I’ve never done   this kind of event in the real I’ve done it  on a treadmill which is a totally different  

Ball game it’s awful I’ve got a plan first 6 hours  is to go as slow as I can and I’m planning on   coming in at 57 58 minutes so I’m not having to  stop I know I can run for 6 hours and it’s not  

Particularly pacy whilst you’re fresh  it’s I can walk the distance why I’m fresh   so I’m going to use that why I can um and then  I’ll have to dig deep after that and obviously   slow down cuz when you think you’re running  really quick you probably not you you end up  

Running a lot slower than what you believe you  are so we just have to go with the flow really Vic would you like anything I’m kind of hungry so could next  time could I have a pasta pot yes and then I’ll   just grab a little snack take with me next  time have yet so I’ve done lots of um races  

That this event company puts on so I ran a lot  of um loops around here and done like six hours   events with them but not actually ran uh the  route that we’re going to do today

What can I get you hi viz and torches, he said its recommended on this one but not mandatory 2 minutes guys do you want some cold water  in there that’s fine I’m good I’ve got an  

Asbestos mouth can you find my hand torches for  me I don’t need until the next lap i got this No my sock had folded over and i forgot to do it until like the last  minute as the bell went off, god i haven’t changed my socks first backyard it’s my  first backyard um I’ve run in the forest here  

Before done a few like lapped events 6 hour events  but it will be my first time going longer distance   than what I’ve done before okay so you’re going  to aim to do more than the 6 hours definitely  

More than the 6 hours um no real plan of how far  I’m going to go I’m going to run like I’m going to   win unrealistic I know but at least I don’t  have that deadline where I pass say 24 hours  

And I want to quit because I’ve reached my goal  so I’m just going to keep running until I can’t   run anymore okay so you’ve got an A goal and it’s  to not stop my A goal is to not stop pretend like  

I’m going to win think this is lap six  maybe lap five lap six around about there anyway   we’ve done 21 miles at the moment so that’s five  laps down so this be lap six yeah that makes sense  

Yeah cool feeling good yeah for 21 miles 21 miles it doesn’t seem like 21 miles to be fair it’s been   really casual lots of walking like I’m going to  walk walk now but I’ve noticed each time that  

This group of people on the Hill are getting  closer at the start of each lap and I’ve not   changed the way I’m running so I’m guessing  everyone’s starting to slow down a little bit maybe yeah I notice what you’re saying the seems  like we’re getting into the group now that’s a good  

Indicator that that is we’re not tiring at all  we’ve been coming in similar sort of time each   lap so so far so good we’ve had time to eat  and do whatever we need to before getting out  

The darkness is on its way yeah any minute now but  all is good well it is in my little world at the moment yeah definitely  feeling good, don’t feel like i’ve started running yet

It’s going alright actually I’m in a pretty good mood which I think probably the best the first thing probably to go  for me is probably my mood So because I’m using hammer nutrition it’s liquid  based so I’m not actually taking on any real real   food as such which will give my gut um it’ll keep  it relaxed hopefully so I’m not putting any GI  

Pressure on me at all cuz there’s no solid food  in I’ve got for me to have to digest and things   so hopefully that plan works and we go from there  but if not then it’ll be plan B plan C and live on the  hoof as it were

Why would they call this vegan, because its beef flavoured a noodle or a pasta next lap please does it matter what one adam, erm they’re making me a coffee I’ve only ever done Ultras really um on  my own before running through hills so  

To do something that’s a um that’s a loop  is really quite different and I’m you know   that that kind of constant speed we’ll  see how it goes um my absolute minimum   is to do marathon because I can’t do a  backyard ultra and then not do an ultra is  

My thought process how many laps is that  I don’t know a few [Laughter] this is our marathon lap it is, marathon and ultra if you are not paying attention you hit it with half your foot you are going to fall over I was a bit nervous about  running through here with all of these   roots yeah um and you know you change your  footing don’t you and I was like hmmm do I   I just walk you know in the end but feeling comfortable so I’m just going to go with  

What feels right at the moment and uh no  grumbly tummy so I’m feeding okay yeah all chipper Oh I’ve got plenty of time to get back I’ve been trying to keep it consistent that was   a little bit quicker than the last  one not by much maybe 30 seconds or something [Music] six out

It’s fine I’ll be fine cuz my Garin will  tell me when when I’m there um then after that   it would be amazing if I could get to 100K which  will be 3:00 in the morning I know that goal so  

I guess that’s my real goal really I just don’t  I really don’t know if I can do it I’ve run that   distance once before um so but obviously that was  at my own speed I could have a slower round and a  

Faster round so yeah we’ll see so you’re not from  here no no I’m from North Wales I live just around   the corner from Vic oh okay so we met because I  fan girled her outside my front door when she walk  

Past one day very lovely this is what crewings all  about this is the one time where we don’t actually want our runners to come in whats the time 8:00 so 50k at the end of this they’ll have  done 50k amazing yeah oh so what else Emmie asked for

Again I don’t want to go route to the nerve vaseline okay yeah end of lap 8 I think quite possibly   looks that way end of lap 8 thank you another one in the bag well done  is good night yeah that was a tough one that

Yeh that was a tough one that one, we got 5 minutes four minutes now [coughs] Vic do you want to put this over your  legs you’re going to get cold, 2 minutes do you want anything next lap, erm no ive still got mash

Dave can I have a coffee for next lap please, and me torches you got torches, its how it goes isn’t it, everything can change [Applause] got the famous we’ve got the famous Graham, this little bit, this bits always the coldest bit

Oh so here we are I think we’re lap  nine we lap nine there we go that’s it   lap nine what’s that distance I oh  no idea but I can tell you that I am   now a backyard Ultra Runner I’ve done it  because that’s six is your marathon and ultra

My absolute top goal and I literally  only have one there’s no B or C is to be   timed out that is my goal for this event I  do not want to finish this event sat in my  

Tent not going out and trying again I want to  be timed out that that is my goal that’s what   I’ve been training for, timing out means  that um I don’t make it back in time to do  

Another lap so I I put it all out there  yeah I I die on the course that’s the plan that’s needs updating it’s not updated  we are now down to 113 remaining   i think they are all doing really well and  everyone looks really cheerful 

Vic’s eating well Gavs eating I didn’t even  see Adam go past he’s like the wind Well done Gav coffee time for sure this is a golden syrup porridge I’m having a love love affair with how you feeling

Okay a little tired a little nauseous perfect thank you okay that’s okay it’s getting cold it’s getting cold chafing come on Vic [Music] are you struggling, yeah [Music] is Jen here two minutes two minutes  do you need anything and maybe a bit water [Laughter] smile, pretend [Laughter]

Torches got it I can’t go again you’ve  got it well done well done, well done, fair play, well done, are you cold Gav  a little bit yeah little bit its always  this first little bit do you warm up yeah takes  me quarter of a mile half a mile then i’m warm again This is 40 miles do this we’ve done 40 miles Chin chin it’s good magic tea just have to see how magic it is Graham you going to put long pants on when you go out again I’m not going out again I didn’t finish that lap oh didn’t you  

No you done amazing i’ve done 63 instead of 65 that’s fantastic absolutely fantastic Oh hello you look so much better Gav  yeah it’s that first around 9:00 I just crash that I’m happy with that’s  that is fine come on Jenny come on yeah   alright are you all right yes I made it’s the  last 100 yeah I’m better than i was  

When I last saw you but I I can’t believe I  managed that lap to be honest you’re awesome  going again yeah yeah smack myself  in the face make it sting keep going thanks   yeah you give another one yeah, seeing as you are going again you can have this, 3 minutes  

Okay there cheers dude you taking them with you two  minutes right got half a bag of crisps and some sweets in there I did not think I was going to be going out again oh yeah was that the 2 minute  okay oh yeah we are yeah

Oh it’s mad how that little stop makes you so stiff it does it makes you stiff it really makes you cold and then right in the top of my groin I  think it’s from going slow trying to power  

Walk more which was a good idea, was our best idea I think it’s just I haven’t run   enough as well to give it a stretch but then  cuz it was going slow was getting colder and colder excellent thanks very much get  that planted and permanent reminder of what  

You managed today how big does it grow uh  us is it one of those monsters so don’t   plant it right next to my house when people  start dropping and there’s less to deal with   it becomes easier for us and easier for  them as well cuz it’s quite congested in  

Here as well took the coffee uh coffee was  Jen with one sugar and oat milk she quite enjoyed Well done, rock and roll give me your flapjack, have I got time yeah you got 2 minutes you all right yeah, bugger that for a game of laughs quick portrait, three minutes two minutes that please flapjack please diolch yn fawr hang on a minute you need that yeah  

You’re not yeah I don’t really care but thank  you for caring thank you for caring for me your   take your arm out of that for me right arm right arm back in thank you the sweets in that pocket like the little rolly samosas thank you amazing let’s hope this is magic coffee

That’s cool that’s amazing cuz I wasn’t  sure i’d get this far um even this chocolate biscuit how   hard it is when you think sat in an office desk you’d bosh them that and I’m thinking   that will do I might throw it’s ridiculous  absolutely ridiculous this 50 miles as well  

Is one I think another PB for Jenny  I’m trying I’m trying the brain I’m trying   the legs i’m trying literally anything my voice is actually horse because I shouted at myself so much that last one you alright, well done, thankyou cheers guys, no worries

Starting to hurt it going down as well as the last time sounds it sounds nicer come on girlies come on well done tight now girls come on who’s not in Emmie and uh Jen go on Sam 2 minutes almost just just over come on ladies 2 minutes think we’ve just lost the girls

Well done you three headlights, come on girls, its not happening ten seconds, cant make it can they heyy Martin how you doing I’m I’m good are you all right yeah yeah top speed right now mate

Top speed with absolutely everything I’ve got channeling just get to the finish line you still going to finish this lap oh yeah yeah we’ve taken a long way to get there cuz it’s 50 miles if you finish this lap yeah is it yeah  it is so nice fat round number to finish on yeah  

So yeah the gentleman behind been on his bike  has been very kind to chaperone us around the   last bit of the of course we’ve been having  a good old chinwag yeah I think we realized  

Early on in this lap yeah that it was going to  be the last and that we were just going to yeah   keep on with it we’ sort of gotten to nearly  a mile in and not managed to run generate so I  

Had to go a bit of a shuffle run Jenny over took  me walking I was like this is not working oh but   you’re still in good spirits oh yeah I’m not I’m  not defeated at all it’s my first backyard Ultra  

And um I’ve done it I’ve got we’re ultra  runners for this we’ve done the distance   50 mile yeah yeah awesome before I came here I  did I just wasn’t sure what I could achieve so   to do that I’m I’m well happy with to be honest [Laughter] not bad 12 minutes over yeah

Why did these first 5 minutes  hurt so much cuz you’ve been still for a bit yeah well you’re cold  you’re cold got to shout your legs, “come on ya [_] it not sure I am loving it but  I’m back so it must be something going on

Welcome back well done guys and Vic I’ll be a guy I don’t mind, alright guy, that was rough yeah I  kicked a root and smashed my right toes uh can Vic have the first aid box and   a pair of scissors she wants to tape her knee

Oh jesus yeah okay oh that’s not great  3 minutes i’ve not got time you want us to get anything ready for next time just the KT tape do you want coffee, was that the last whistle no no you’ve got a minute and a half just just over a minute  

Going to start to get light, i’ve had 30 seconds rest This is hard right so you’ve done you’ve done what 75  miles yeah it’s bloody brilliant that’s yeah that’s good I’m happy with that I gave it my all just wasn’t a case of for for cuz for  

About the last four or five laps my feet have  just been on fire yeah well well done for for   going out yeah I I thought yeah and then I just  i didn’t have it in me yeah any more cups oh that is so good

PB right yeah it is yeah beat by two yards so, well done  really good work have another coffee please   it’s my second backyard yeah so my my first one  I did 16 this time 18 did 18 so yeah happy with that You didn’t fall over on the last one did  you Gav um one before one before yeah clobbered three toes on this side and went down  hard and whole foot was throbbing for about   2 miles and like hey that’s not going to  be I can actually see it now the sun’s come up

What you need mate new legs  yeah haven’t got any of them you want KT tape yeah? finger out my laces, please will you charge my head torch, a bit optimistic in it what you taping Vic, my knees gone it popped out two laps ago it’s been ages since my knees gone

How long I got I need to eat, you have got 5 and half minutes could do with a needle if possible, as and when

Adam, oh Adam, I came back I went a little way and then I just bottled it and I couldn’t do it I couldn’t get back I decided I wouldn’t get out of there so that’s what I had to do

Well done for getting out there, yeah I could kept calling you for like ages, Ads, oh don’t tell me that, well done on your PB mate [Music] honestly I, did you hear her say it on the last lap, this is me, nice round figure I don’t know what’s going on I really don’t  know lap 7 will be 8:00 p.m. I haven’t got   a clue yeah so you’re in the it was dark yeah  it was in the dark it wasn’t the first lap in  

The dark I know that much that’s all I know  but yes so that was when I thought okay like   up to that point I felt fresh legged and  I still can feel like now I to guess how  

Far I ran on how my legs are feeling I’d say  maybe nearing the ultra mark now my legs like   there’s no fatigue in them but like emotions  have been high in the night good news I’ve  

Reset my watch every lap so that I don’t  know I don’t know what lap are on I don’t   I didn’t didn’t know what the time was till  my lawn went off wake up um is just this yard, nothing else

Breakfast time and maybe have to put in a breakfast order how the sock change feeling, feels good   sorted that little blister a bit sore initially but yeah pain soon gone now yeahh, well done, now can I have some weetabix and some sugar

Some mango please and a pair of gloves yes I feel like a better right now, some one is in a good mood, you two have picked up yeah we’ve warmed up now, it takes us 80 miles to warm up, nearly 10 minutes break this time

Ginger you need to pee again, I go on the whistle 3 minutes  you got almost three seconds yeah there you go come on! [Applause] [Music] [Applause] wooo come on, come onnnn [Cheers] [Applause] you’re getting quicker youve got 13 minutes lovely thank you that’s the trouble isn’t it it hold it for me then

Three minutes yeah she did the Whistle was on time loads of time its a ginger nut funny bit put off now to be honest no they  were going down really well but the funny   thing is you did that one really quick  and this is probably the most cheerful  

You’ve been for a while and really and  you’re eating and drinking 10 seconds welcome back Vic [Music] [Applause] is this 100 miler lap oh wow that’s cool yeah you want just rice I can’t I want to eat   and I can’t your I’m coming in front  you no way we’re jumping over you by

30 seconds have a good one [Applause] one I just need to eat need some  rice just normal rice no curry [Applause] 24 cracking effort I’m done should we just sit  here and do the Belgian thing now   not going back out guys it’s not  quite so um theatrical when we’re not  

Even last two we’re not the last two  three minutes all right 10 seconds everybody all right enjoy everyone Helps to keep routine doesn’t it  and just find yeah find little things you   can connect with my foot is throbbing  like it the whole toe into my foot I need to go again [Music] I know you said you having a chilled lap what’s going on here

That a nice lap, no it’s getting to the point now we’re i’ve had enough one minute oh deer you I’ve  only scalded my leg took it to me like   20 seconds yeah as 10 seconds everybody all right good luck guys enjoy it [Music] yeah I think there’s  a few hoping for 30 [Music]

What are we having anything just anything there another one much better a bit music in my ear have you charged mine and Gavs head torches, yeah yeah they’ve been on charge do you know what might be good next time I have  this a little bit of tomato soup might be a bit more  

Calorific, i was going to make you some more soup, want to go out again yeah music was good, can have some weetabix and brown sugar please what I’ve worked more no more caffeine lady she still got be awake on Friday morning  yeah i’ I’ve picked when to use it my foot is broken

It gave way when you came you said you were tired how many went out on  that then one dropped only   one dropped so far Vic your the first back aren’t you so thats just beautiful what do you need mate I just  don’t know anymore a cup of tea, is it over yet mate  

It’s only over when you want it to be over, watermelon yeah, yes today watermelon okay I don’t know what’s  happening three laps to 30 that’s a nice  number to die on single figures nine yeah  

You’re in the top 10 you are now officially  in the top 10 oh I can go home you need to eat your mashed potato three minutes [Applause] its getting hard now mate might need a little nap I think, ok lets get you in here then i’m pretty sleepy, not feeling that

One, no, not at all that felt awful i’m gonna, not nice let’s go ahead all right all doing good how you doing yeah okay we made some   choices out there next okay well  I made you some beans oh [Music] i’m a broken man [Applause] well done everybody [Applause] [Music]

It’s a weird one right because I said my  our only goal was to be timed out but we   we didn’t know if we were going to get to 24  and now we’re doing 30 and I’m like this isn’t  

My A race the tunnel is my A race and Gav you’re feeling it aren’t you yeah I just don’t want to keep on coming out   coming out and coming out for the sake of it I’m  quite happy with where we are I don’t think I’m in  

The position to carry on running another four  or five laps to find out that everyone else is   really comfortable I feel like I’ve got a  lot more run in me um like I’ve struggled  

Going slow for these two laps I think that hurts me um but kind of feel like even though we’ve been running   solo we’re here as a team I I don’t want to carry on without you so I said to Gav do you think  

We could do another two we’ll do it together  um and 30 is it’s a good number right all the   numbers so this is 30 this is it yeah we just need to  finish this currently on 121.6 Miles I’m on 1.3 miles I’m super proud of us us

[Music] nice way to finish, yeah, nice way to DNF that well done well well well well done well done come on you got to get going again we’re done [Music] Chin up lads, eh you’ve just ran an ultra Looks like Vic and Gav are done tapping out at 30 completed waiting for a Rasselbock cup of tea 10 seconds guys and er Karen [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] Well done, go Karen, i’m going to go for Karen 1 2 3 jump

  4. This is a wonderful film and an awesome event! I was on the registration desk, and then at Marshal Point 3 for the first few hours, and it was a pleasure chatting to these guys as they went passed each lap.
    It was lovely to see how they all progressed in this film – I'd seen the results at the time, but the results never tell the whole story, and this was brilliant!

  6. Liked this but would have liked to see the end as respect to the last runners… Vic had way more in her but stopped which was admirable. Well done all.
