Friends I have to show you guys something I’m really excited about and I can’t wait to show you guys yes that I don’t if you guys can tell how many fruit trees are here I was going to say a bad word but guys I am so excited I cannot believe that my friend

Steve Liz from SAR high school that he is in charge of the agricultural program there gifted me all of these trees I am so thrilled because this is the beginning of our stone fruit Orchard I have so many ideas I have I think a total of 22 trees here we’re going to

Get started on planting it soon we have apples peaches nectarines and uh let me see what else let me show you where I plan on putting it let me show you where I plan on putting this seriously I’m so sorry for the wind so I’m going to do a

Voice over this is the area where I plan on putting my stone fruit Orchard as you can see here I already started a row but it has some Citrus I’m starting to change my mind now that I have these many stone fruit trees and the reason

Why is because citrus can go on a layer up higher where the slope is a little bit higher and more uh harder to walk on or to address or to attend if you didn’t know citrus trees don’t require that much attention other than trimming for

Shaping or in case it has a disease and you need to address that and of course for the most amazing part of it all for harvesting and stone fruits require a little bit more attending you’re going to want to trim those trees more often so for that reason I needed a little bit

Of a better working space and the lower is has a flatter ground before we go and show you what the new Gardens looking like and the progress that we have here I want to show you with this other project that we’re working on I bought

These pieces of wood to lay them out on its side to help create a small little race bed but I didn’t realize that these were much too wide for what I was trying to do once my husband put it down and we tested it I did not like it and needs to

Be a lot shorter than that cuz I’m only going to add a little bit of soil so we decided to make some race beds with these and they worked out perfectly fine we took off three feet off of each piece of wood and it with two pieces we were

Able to create One race bed in AML perfect I’m very excited to be making the these uh in the future I would like to get some birdie race beds because they last longer and they’re much better but for now the budget only allows to do

Some rat beds out of this pieces of wood and I think this will last me a few years honestly the most important thing is that you get your garden going no matter how if it’s in containers and buckets in race beds in the ground with little locks creating a rais bed it

Doesn’t matter friends get your garden started however you see possible and it’s feasible for your budget so in the future maybe the budget will be a little bit better and then I can get different race bets but for now these worked out perfectly fine I think I spent about

$130 for a total of three race bets what he did it would look fairly easy I I think it was fairly easy I just got these and took off three piece from each one and it two of these pieces made One race bed so let me move back so you guys

Can see what’s happening in this area so I can have a garden I’m going to put one there actually they’re they’re where they should be I’m just going to put a trellis and Arch trellis so I can grow some lofas there um I have to add some

Some stuff here to fill these up and then on top some soil like leaves wood chips logs whatever I can find cardboard and then those are going to go there I might split this and put like a container there with the fruit tree in between them and Scoot that over and

Move that out of the way this cage needs to go I’m not sure where I’m going to break it down and store it I otted my fruit tree my finger line that was in the greenhouse because you guys know that I love two everything in two I have some lettuce and radishes

Going here I think I put a potato in there which was I don’t think that was a good idea but I don’t know either I did it or my daughter did it and I forgot to pull it out strawberries going along here I’m leaving this space for some

Tomatoes and my finger lime and then my two birdie race beds that are there I love them and some point I am going to save up and buy some more because I would love to continue to add some more birdie beds here but for now I am going

To just put race Bist around the perimeter of this area because that would be easy um irrigation that I’m going to put super easy I’ll make a separate video on how I set up the irrigation here I’m really proud that I’m actually going to do it myself um if

You guys have been following me here for a long time you guys know how nervous I was before when it came to irrigation and now I feel fairly conf confident doing it and I want to share it with you guys I have all the pieces ready to go

It’s like connecting Legos I have a spet over there so I’m going to be able to connect it there and put a timer on it so stay tuned if you’re new go ahead and hit that subscribe button so you guys can get notified when I do that video

But that is it friends I just wanted to show you this quick video of the amazing blessing that my friend Steve L gave us and where I plan on putting it what’s going on in this uh kitchen Garden that I’m going to be developing here my husband helped me build those raised

Beds he put them where I wanted them to be and now it’s just a matter of setting up the irrigation putting carboard at the bottom utting logs and soil ordering soil or purchasing soil and that Garden is going to go up and running I think that with one two three four five six

Beds for 20124 it’s going to be fantastic I’m going to be able to grow so much and I can’t wait to show you guys what I’m going to be growing how I’m going to be growing it obviously I still have my Hillside Garden that is

Doing so good I’m so happy cuz I added some if you guys obviously if you guys have been following me you guys know about my pineapple guava how it was in a container it didn’t fruit and that is one tree that I will not recommend to

Put in containers I’m going to do a separate video about what fruit trees I recommend for containers that do well and Thrive well and um produce and pineapple woba is definitely not one of them but I actually my friend from she has a little nursery nearby and she was

Able to get me um two Pineapple Waba Bush variety and I’m very excited about that because they’re going to be able to cross-pollinate and hopefully this will be the year that I actually get some fruit out of this tree let me show you guys really quick and end this video with

That see there’s one it’s already planted super easy nothing really to show that than we dug up a hole put some worm castings and it’s done here is the other one and obviously this is this part I haven’t gotten into developing it and adding plants but from here this way is pretty

Much done guys I’m going to put um basil here I’ve added a lot of lavender cuz I love the way it looks in the landscape right now there’s a lot of weeds but there’s a lavender roll there there’s a lavender over there and then there’s lavender roll that way I transplanted a

Few right there right there and a few cuz I making these little rows so it’s pleasing to the eye and it creates like lines in this Hillside garden and some interest and then in between I’m adding fruit trees but that is it friends I wanted to show you everything that I am

Working on that um that’s happening here at Garden loves and my Hillside my race bed my Orchard I’m so happy guys I feel so blessed to have wonderful friends that you know call me and say I have some treats for you my husband who helps me my daughter and her boyfriend are

Always helping me with little things that I can’t necessarily do and they’re lifting and moving things for me so I feel extremely blessed for that and uh even more blessed to be able to share it with you guys and hopefully it inspires you guys to get going and do little

Projects little by little we’ll get it done before we know it we’re going to be living in this Oasis beautiful place to sit in and um just take a moment this is the spot where I sit every morning taking the Sun and just breathe and meditate and pray and just allow my mind

To be in peace for a minute I hope you guys enjoy this I hope you guys have a blessed day I’ll see you in the next one
