I am Anu, my channel has different types of rangoli videos / Kolam videos. Kolam is a traditional art form that’s been followed in almost all households for a long time.There are different types of kolam like sikku kolam,pulli kolam,kambi kolam,neli kolam,rangoli kolam. Each kolam variety has an endless number of kolam designs ranging from small kolam / kutti kolam drawn with just 2 dots and very big kolam designs drawn using multiple dots. Normally people draw simple rangoli designs / Daily rangoli designs on the front of the house every day in the mornings and in the evenings. On auspicious days like Fridays, they draw some special Friday muggulu designs like padi kolam, Flower kolam, vellakku kolam. Especially on festival days, colour kolam designs are so popular and everyone will decorate the front of their house with beautiful rangoli designs. Especially on the whole month of margazhi, women will draw big rangoli designs with colour rangoli powders in the mornings. Margazhi kolam designs are always special. The month of margazhi is followed by the new year where unique rangoli designs are drawn on the new year day. This new year kolam designs especially includes the current year along with the design.
Next comes the most traditional Pongal festival/ Thai pongal, mattu pongal/ Sankranti. On both these days, people will decorate the floor of the house and the front yard with lots of rangoli kolam with rice flour and white rangoli powder. There are many types of creative Pongal kolam designs and mattu pongal kolam designs which will be a treat to our eyes. Apart from these, you can also find some latest rangoli designs / creative rangoli designs in this channel. Most of the muggulu designs will be easy for even beginners to draw with simple step by step instructions. Hope you enjoy watching these simple rangoli designs.
