  1. Just when I thought blue was your color you show up with Easter Lavender. I love those shirts. Where did you get them? Hearing the birds was so enchanting. I love the different sounds of birds from the North and South. I cover my garden so I don't end up with all the tree seeds. If anyone is interested that is an option too. Especially on a raised bed. (easier on raised bed)

  2. The music you add to your videos is beautiful and complement what you are doing; real artistry. Thank you for showing exactly how you plant these. Believe it or not, some of us have never planted lettuce, for example, and really appreciate this. Blessings.

  3. kudos and your 2nd yr onion plants are going to seed. Might be if left to ripen, planted in box, they'll be up before frost next winter and onions' in 2025

  5. First outdoor plantings of the season are always exciting when the weather cooperates! I have celery under cover from winter but was too afraid to look to see if it survived – glad yours looks so lush. Love your shirt too! Hope you have a blessed week…

  6. hi Barbara Kaye,, you look stunning in that lavender colored top and your hair throws back the years " a really pleasant

  7. It rained all day Friday and Saturday we worked in 40 degree weather finishing the greenhouse build. Hated every second of being in that cold, damp, muddy weather. Too wet to plant or till so will wait until this week to till. Supposed to by dry then more rain by Thursday. Would love to get the beets, lettuce and other cool weather crops in the ground soon!
That Botanical Interests display is mesmerizing. I can never pass it up without purchasing some packets.
Wow! You had those pots under frost cloth the whole winter? They look fantastic!
    Love the music, Kaye!

  8. Oh and that comfrey makes a good chop and drop for your fruit trees and makes the best nitrogen fixer as well.

  9. Good for you! โค I think I'll have to wait a few more weeks to plant those, still low 30's here at night and chances of snow.

  10. Oh, the music! That drew me to your channel to begin with! You are not the only one who doesn't have perfection! My gardens have never looked perfect. But they produced–that's all I care about!

I'm still gardening indoors! With the exception of some lettuces inside a greenhouse. They are cold hardy lettuces (one is Arctic King!) Everything else is in sunny windowsills. My average first frost date is April 27, although most people around here wait until after Mother's Day (if they can๐Ÿ˜‚). But some things can easily be protected until that date.

IVOrganic sent me THREE fig cuttings! I thought that was very generous! I planted them in pots, and they are also on the windowsill. I got two lemon trees sprouted so far! They are so cute!

Thank you for bringing us along on your gardening adventure!

  11. Hello m'long haired lovely. Swiss chard is one of my favorite greens. Always looked forward to my dad telling me to get some chard for dinner. Do you have a small patch of Oregano? Zero maintenance. Only harvesting requires work. We had colors & smells & felt great when the bees came to "play". Your prep looks 1st cabin. My eyes & good juju on you.๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’ชโ˜ฎ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ

  12. You look far too pretty to be working in the garden. I'd have that lovely shirt/jacket filthy by the time I was done but I can't see a spot on yours!

  13. Do you use Clyde's garden planner for your planting dates? And what are those pink blossoms on the tree behind you at the end of your video? I know you will probably forget by the time your turnips come on, but perhaps you'll like a turnip au gratin? One of my favorite dishes.

  14. Great video ! everything looks nice ๐Ÿ’šThe onions are going to seed, the second year thatโ€™s the bloom/ scape.
